Peonies in July ?
Yes, Alaska has them!

Join Arctic Alaska Peonies Cooperative

Why become a peony grower?

The peony growing industry is the fastest growing agricultural venture in the state of Alaska and shows strong financial promise. The world-wide demand for cut peonies is great and Alaska’s peonies bloom in what was the only hole in the year round, world-wide peony availability, providing a waiting market.

Although like any other agricultural venture there is hard work and the vagaries of weather, it is a delight to watch such a beautiful flower grow.  And the result is not only beautiful, but profitable.  If you are interested in growing peonies in the Interior of Alaska, talk to one of our local growers and come to our New Growers School.

Why Join Arctic Alaska Peonies?

Arctic Alaska Peonies is a cooperative of farmers working together to provide the highest quality peonies for the summer commercial flower market. Our collaboration focuses on member supported marketing, transportation, research, and education ensuring that our customers receive the biggest, brightest, freshest peonies.

Member support includes grower education (classes, mentoring, and individual consultation), research to determine the most effective growing, centralized chilling facilities and shipping services, and group purchasing to lower costs to our members.

To join the Arctic Alaska Peonies Co-operative, please fill out the membership application and send it to the address on the bottom of the application.
